An SRT file holds the subtitle text and, for each sentence, when it appears and disappears. EDUVOICE AI creates it from the video: AI transcribes what is said, translates it into the language you choose and times each sentence. You download the SRT file, and the subtitled video if you wish.

Translating an SRT file? Start from the video
EDUVOICE AI does not translate an existing SRT file: it starts again from the video, which keeps the timing right. If you have the video, upload it and choose the subtitle language: you get a new SRT file, already translated.

- Subtitles only: the original voice is kept, the translated subtitles are burned in and the SRT file is provided.
- With dubbing: an AI voice speaks the content in the chosen language; the subtitles and the SRT file are still available.
Where can I use the SRT file?
YouTube, Vimeo, LinkedIn and most training platforms accept the SRT format. The file is plain text: you can open it in an editor to fix a word before publishing it.
